Hi from the Terrace of the Musée d’Orsay. My name is Fred. I’ve been living in Paris for nearly 60 years (Yes, I know, I’m old).
I have been a schoolboy in Paris, then a student, a journalist, a DJ, a musician, a photograph a father, a son. I have been rich and poor. I have lived in many areas.
I have explored Paris, day and night, by foot, by bus, by bike, on my scooter. I have photographed it, written about it, read about it.
I created Parisianism to share useful or interesting information for Paris lovers who want to know more about the city. And for those who want to discover it.
To make it more interesting, I also planned a few articles about daily life in Paris, understanding french culture and administrative issues for those who would like to stay here a few months.
We’ll see where it goes. For me it is an opportunity to revisit all the museums, all the cafes and venues, all the interesting places… To enjoy Paris again, with new eyes, the eyes of a guide.
So : if you have a question, if there is a topic that you’d like to read about, don’t hesitate to leave me a message or post a question. I’ll be happy to help !
